Posted:2/16/2012 20:53 i have a 66 ford ranchero with a 5 lug front&rear end ive been prepping a 302 2v and matching c-4 or 6 to put into my little hit rod i wanted advise if i need to do any upgrades on it before firing it up

Posted:2/17/2012 06:46 What was installed originally? Straight six or V8? 1966 Ranchero used either a I6 or V8. I don't know about the rear end though. They may have used the same rear but different gear ratio. I would check on that. Also, if the front end had the I6, I don't know if the springs were different for a V8.
