Just another update on my upgrading project. Yesterday I got all of the old COPs removed along with the old plenum and air idle control valve. After trying to bolt the tstat housing back in place I realized my manifold is cracked right on the seem between where the tstat sits on the manifold and the hesaders. Of course another set back!

But I just ordered the PI intake manifold with a conmplete kit like gaskets bolts and alternator cover. I figured I would need one eventually anyway so no biggie.

Ill post pics of some new parts that just arrived. Check it out. Thanks

It's better to find and correct it before restarting the engine, than to restart it and have it blow out in the middle of nowhere.

But then you ARE making progress.
