If no codes are showing, then it's not a hard code YET. Did they reset / clear all codes to be safe? If not, it may do the same thing;flash on/off. Ford says if it flashes on & off, it could damage the emission system. Being it started after you changed the IAC, it could be in the IAC circuirt. You need to recheck this.
