Engine hums in the general area of the IAC. IAC, drive belt, idle pully, air filter, fuel filter all just replaced. The hum continues. Any thoughts?

2000 Crown vic 4.6l v8 - CEL came on, but does not stay on - and everytime i take it to autozone to get it checked, they say the codes cannot be pulled because they say that the CEL is not currently on.... if i could get the codes pulled, it would def help. Will take a vid with my phone though and post it by this time tomorrow - THX!

If no codes are showing, then it's not a hard code YET. Did they reset / clear all codes to be safe? If not, it may do the same thing;flash on/off. Ford says if it flashes on & off, it could damage the emission system. Being it started after you changed the IAC, it could be in the IAC circuirt. You need to recheck this.
