I have two different issues I think on the left front side of my 1995 Crown Vic. It squeaks bad when either moving up and down or turning the steering. I heard it was the tie end rods and they had to be replaced as a unit.

Anyone have any info on this.

Blessings!

It could be the wheel bearing...or as you mention...the other steering components
Tie rod, shocks, brake pads, springs...etc.

Can you just push down on the fender and hear the noise...that would catch the
suspension components....?

Have someone drive the car slowly while you listen to the brakes being applies...???

Have someone drive the car and slow turn LT and The RT...back and forth.....
can you isolate the noise....?

From a standing (stopped) position on the car...Grab the top of the wheel/tire...
Push and pull it....is there any movement...motion....???
If so....it's your wheel bearings....!!!

Just a few things that come to mind....

Wizzard1222 has just about covered everything. I have a question about the squeaking when turning the wheel. Is it doing this when stopped (steering components) OR only when traveling (shocks, springs, or bearings)? When was the last time it was greased, if it can be? If it was never greased and can't be, it's time to start replacing parts and do a re-build of the front-end. If trhose bearings and joints are the "permanent" type, replace them.

After I had re-built mine, I brought it to Pep Boys for an alignment, oil change, and lube job. They forgot the lube job, but remembered to charge me for it. Three weeks later my front-end started squeaking when traveling. I checked and I could tell it was not greased. Pep Boys replaced parts at their own cost, with grease-able joints like I had installed.

Had the exact same issue. Ball joints. Replaced them and all squeaks went away. If the lowers have never been replaced just do the entire control arm.
