I don\\'t know what its called ( F2AE-9R504-BA) 1993 Crown Vic: It connects to the throttle body on one end, and the intake on the other? It has become dry rotted - its all cracked up where it fits on to the boot that connects to the throttle body. It has overhead cam written on it, and sits on top of the motor - it says made in canada? My google search did not hit on anything pertinent?
Is there an aftermarket replacement part? What is its primary function? I would be grateful for any help! |

Sounds to me like you attempting to describe the beauty cover; the plastic cover that goes over the engine. Most people I know just trash them when they forget to put them back on. Wish you would have posted a picture of what you are trying to describe.

That was my first post - cut me a little slack. Your right a picture is very decriptive - it is a beauty cover but they must replace it with something? It is the conduit from the mass air to the throttle body with two other small hose fittings.
Nice looking CV - my 93 is the same color. Thanks for the response! |
