my power steering pump was leaking where the plastic piece comes out for the plug , i bought an after market one but i didnt raise the wheels from the ground to try getting rid of the air and i also started the car up then poured in the fluid , now the second pump is leaking in the same spot and is still full of air did i damage this pump by not lifting the car first , thanks for any help
