Hey I have a rattle that I can not figure out it sounds like its coming from the front passenger valve cover here is a link to the engine running and making the noise...it is not constant ....

Have you tried pin pointing it with a mechanic's stethoscope? Or you can use a length of fuel line to your ear and listen with the other end close to the noise. You can spot exactly where the noise is coming from.

Also, when was the last time you did a tune-up. If its been over 50K miles, replace plus, filters, and pcv valve.

.PLANS:: engine upgrade, 5.4L 2v stroker, rebuild interior in leather w/ buckets, thinking about turbos

Wow just ran across this post nosing around and by golly the youtube video that is pointed to is one I made on my car and is in my account. I can only hope it is being used as an example which is fine. Just curious however.

Oh FYI solved this: AC Clutch
