My 93 grand marquis keeps blowing the 20a ignition coil fuse under the hood. It will drive for a second then blow. Any suggestions on where to start. |

If you have the Haynes or Chilton manual, trace down the wiring diagram from the fue forward. To blow a 20amp fuse means you have a short, but where is the problem. Finding a short takes quite a while to trace each wire in the circuit to check if it is frayed. Also, it could be an internal short in the coils. And it will be time consuming.
The fuse is between the power supply and where it is shorting out. Start unwrapping wiring and check them carefully. Eventually you will find the problem.
