Almost one month later, 5 different mechanics, and the same "Did you try and see if the factory airbox works? Did you check the MAF sensor?" question. I still have a CEL telling me that Fuel Bank A and Fuel Bank B are too rich, all because of a K&N CAI on my 06' CVPI. My final solution is to tune it. Im considering buying the Diablosport T1000. It's $600 so i want to atleast make sure that it's going to fix my problem once and for all. Feedback greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

06 came with the updated airbox. Sounds like the colder air is making the mixture to rich. $600 is a lot to pay for one tune. If your not going to do a bunch of other mods I would not buy the tuner. Some guys wire in resistors to make it richer. Those K&N set ups help the early cars before 04 and it's been said that they make more noise than HP. Your car and your $ Sunfish |

Ordered my tuner on Saturday, talked to Lonnie today. Nice guy, told me im going to be completely satisfied. I can't tell you how excited i am. I ordered a 93 and 89 octane tune with a mild and wild tune. How much of a difference will i see with acceleration/ horsepower/and wear on my motor? |

It should really wake it up. Tell us how this all works out and the time and $ amount spent. Getting rid of throttle lag on the DBW cars is a big step forward. Have a great Holiday season. Sunfish |
