Hello,
I am new here and have been enjoying the reading and tech advice. I have some questions that I wonder if you guys could answer. I am using a 95-03 crown vic subframe on a IMCA dirt modified this year. This class has to use stock clips along with stock steering components, also no rack and pinion. The most common clips used are the 68-72 Chevelle, along with the 79-85 monte carlo (metric). My chassis builder and myself have decoded to use the crown vic due to the availability and it is supposed to have good front end geometry.
My question is what is the quickest power steering box I can bolt on to this assembly? We will be using a 2:1 quickener with a belt driven racing PS pump off the front of the motor. I am unclear on what the EVO designation is..but it wont work if its computer controlled. Also, does the PS box I choose dictate drag link and tie rod selection? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
