Hey guys, I owned a 2003 explorer XLT before i picked up my Panther, I still have the factory Explorer radio CD/Cassette AM FM. I was wondering if it would be possible to take out my plain jane CVPI radio that is just AM FM Casette and put my old Explorer radio in the CVPI.
Thanks! |

Anything is possible, depending on how much work you want to do. If the Explorer radio physically fits, its just a matter of wiring the connectors properly. You will need the plug-in connect from the Explorer and rewire it to the CV wiring.
If the Explorer radio won't fit, you may have to modify the opening for it to fit, and then wire it up.
Or you could something oddball and mount the Explorer radio in the glove box, leaving the CV radio in but not working.
