so This car performed great for a while and i put in a new sound system and it worked great for several months afterwards, then all of a sudden one day i was pulling into the garage and BLAM! ALL lights in/on the car shut off and the airbag warning light came on. the next day i replaced like 15 fuses, the previous owner or owner before him had all messed up kind of wrong fuses. replaced all with correct rating and checked wires no burning anywhere. lights came back on but, climate control lights and door panel lights will never turn off unless fuse is pulled. also the driver side headlight works fine but passenger light never shuts off and when the dimmer switch is on low beams the passenger light is on high and vice versa. the airbag warning is still on and an annoying ding continues every time car is turned on, its like 5 dings then a pause then 5 more it keeps going and going. I pulled a few fuses and so now i just have no radio constant or high beams but everything else works just like it should. low beam as it should be and lights shut off correctly. I have no idea what is going on with this car any help would be awesome!! This problem has kept from registering this vehicle and passing inspection on a side note.

Get yourself a manual and start troubleshooting. Just pulling fuses and changing them for the correct amperage lets you know whether or not the circuit is working, but doesn't explain what is happening. Yes, it could be the LCM. Or it could be a ground fault. But you will need a wiring diagram to trace down wires.

Get a used LCM from a wrecker yard and try that first. If it doesn't solve the problem, then the fun begins. And I'm willing to bet it is something rewired under the dash.
