Please could someone that owns a 77-79 Ranchero do me a huge favor? Could someone please take a picture of how the ignition housing mounts to the steering column. I have a 79 that I just bought and the steering wheel rubs against the ignition housing. I took the steering wheel and turn signal piece off and found that the entire ignition housing was loose and not even bolted to anything so I think this is my problem. I took the housing completely off along with the shift collar. There are two holes on the ignition housing that looks like there were bolts or nuts on there at one time because of the circular wear pattern, but there wasn\\'t anything there when I took it all apart. I suspect this is partially how the housing mounts to the steering column but I think I might be missing another part. I have searched and searched for a diagram, pictures, anything and have come up with nothing. Your help is greatly appreciated!!
