93 lx.
A. Needs drivers seat w. Seat controls. Chair flat and motor gone in chair.
B. Drivers door panel with trunk and gas tank buttons.
1. Which other models can I use to replace my items?
2. What should I expect to pay?
3. Any YouTube videos to help? Going diy
4. The door panels switches work, but someone tried to wrap them in tape instead of using proper connections.
I was only looking for a point A to B...this is a movement! 93 Vic LX

Congrats on the 93 LX. You may want to browse through www.crownvic.net, www.fordfreedom.net, and www.p71.ca for lots of info on the CV, GM, and TC. I believe that model years 1993 to 1997 are all the same, with the exception of minor changes in the transmissions and some engine tuning.

A. Seats -- Check out the FOR SALE sections of the above forums. Sometimes you get lucky. Or start looking at junkyards to see what you can find. Just don't forget that the Grand Marquis and Town Car also fit ours.

B. Door panels -- New? Dealership will have to do a national search for NOS parts. Price? About $350 each. Try junkyards. You may have to redye them to match. Cracked? Search for panel repairs write-ups. Most people repair them with layers of fiberglass matting and plastic on the inside.

I have a 1997 CVPI. Now that's one to try to find parts for. The 98s and up won't fit normally. But there are some parts from the 98s that will. Its just a matter of research (searching part numbers and reading the forums).

YouTube has quite a few videos on repair work. Some are for CVs, and some are just general. A lot of your searching will be trying to figure what search words to use to find what you want.

Get yourself the Haynes manual for the Crown VIcs. It will help on removing, replacing, and repair of parts.
