Had a fender bender and have stripped the front end from the Crown Vic (2000 CVPI) and having trouble getting the front bumper shocks to align with the holes. Can get one side to line up but can't get close with the other side on the replacement parts. The frame is OK and the replacement parts are straight.
Any ideas why one side doesn't want to go back the inch to line up with the hole for the bolt that holds the bumper shocks in place.
Thanks!

Are you talking about the brackets? They could be twisted so the bolts won't line up properly.

Finally was able to get it to align by disassembling the bumper shocks and front cross bar and then reassembling. Was misaligned originally some how...
Finally got that part back together, next the bumper cover. |
