Where is the keyless entry code located on a 2005 Grand Marquis LS?

A search on this forum didn' t turn up any results. I've looked everywhere for the module but can't seem to locate it.

I have one working remote but do not know the door code.

It may be located on the inside of the trunk lid.

Thanks for the reply Razzi.

No luck under the trunk lid or the package tray/speaker platform.

The keyless entry code should be on one of the hinges for the trunk lid. If not, then you will have to remove the drivers inside door panel to get the code from a label on the module.

Ok. I'll give that a shot.
I was hoping it was not in the drivers door, because I have trouble sometimes getting the panel back on correctly.

Thanks for the reply.

Oh yes, it is behind the driver's door panel.

And thank you Ford for designing a panel that is easy off easy on.

The code could have also been retrieved using the WDS at the dealer
