hello everyone,
I just joined the forum after recently purchasing my first Crown Victoria. I've been a long time fan of the Phantom platform vehicles. I've been in the Mustang hobby for almost 30 years so it was time to change things up.
I found my car on Craigslist this week.it was advertised as a mechanic special with 88,000 miles for $500.what I got was a 1996 P74 Crown Victoria LX. it has very nice paint and decent interior, but it needs a lot of work to be done to it. it sat for nearly two years after the air suspension failed.
the car was garage most of its life but it was not well taken care of. I got a nice surprise when I went to verify mileage on the digital dash. The mileage was actually 55,000 original miles instead of 88,000 miles because the previous owner had set the dash to km instead of miles.
well I have a lot of work to do on this car I look forward to chatting with you guys on this forum.
