1998 Crown Victoria. What should i do?

Well guys, I finally felt that I could join the community. I've read the threads for a while dreaming about having a Marauder or a Crown Vic P71! My parents own two Grand Marquis and now a Crown Vic ("My Car"). One Marquis has 230,000 miles on it and the other is on its way! Now that there is a car that is "Mine" I felt the need to join and ask the guys who know whats going on!

What should I do with my (40,000 mile) Crown Vic? I've gotten some tips but I want to know what you guys think should be done! Whats the must do's (and/or Don'ts)!!!!

P.S. When I get in a position that I can afford to do it, I would like to put in a 5.4L and maybe forced induction on it..... If I do you guys will be the first to know!!!

What do you want out of the vehicle?
A PI swap is a basic upgrade and will open the door a bit more for performance.

Go checkout www.crownvic.net and see what can and can't be done. Treat it like a HEAVY DUTY Mustang with the intake on wrong and you can survive.

Well I would like to see about 30-50 hp gain and be able to do 120 or so if that's possible.

Also the p1 stuff. My car currently has the plastic intake manifold and the shitty heads if it's stick doesn't it? Where would it be best to find p1 heads and that stuff?
