Brake light in instrument panel comes on at times. If it is on or off it makes no difference how the brakes work. As far as I can tell they work just fine. This dash isn't the electronic dash if it makes any difference.

The brake light in the upper right hand corner of the dash comes on when the emergency brake is applied. You are possibly driving around with it partially clicked on. Check to see that it is off completely, if so, check to see if the micro-switch is adjusted correctly.
