i have a 2007 and 2008 police interceptor ..how do i turn off the dark car mode ???

You need dealer software to turn off "dark mode" on 2006 and newer Crown Victorias, look about half way down on this page.

At most dealers they should charge you a hook up fee, a standard $100, for the service but some people have gotten a reduced rate or free simple services like that by just talking to the people in the service department.

For me, I love the dark mode. If I want to turn on the dome light I do, but if not, it is nice to just get out late at night without the whole world seeing you...
