How about something similar to the media caption, but an introduction at the top of an album?
Like the caption, if the field is empty, NOTHING would show (just like now). But if I'm logged into my own registry, I'd see an "Edit Intro" link at the top of each album view, just like I see "Edit Caption" under my own media. If there's text in the Intro field, then that would appear before any media in the album across the full width of the white background (whether logged in or not) in all 5 possible views of that album.
There's a place for this kind of info for a complete vehicle registry (containing any number of albums), and for each media file within an album, but NOT for each of the albums.
