Hello. Does anyone have experience with smoothies or older steel wheels on newer Grand Marquis/Crown Victorias? I'm new here so sorry if this has been coved but I didn't find the info I was looking for. I have a 2004 Grand Marquis and I just picked up a set of vintiques smoothies on craigslist. They're 16x7, 5 on 4.5 so I thought I was good to go but surprise surprise the calipers rub! I know I could get spacers but I have no experience with them and I wouldn't want to screw up my car. Are there any hub centric spacers that will work with these older style wheels. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What offset are the wheels you got? The stock wheels are around +45 offset so the new ones should be close or they will give you issues.

How much do they rub?
