CUP HOLDER/ASH TRAY

Hi I been Looking for any post with cup holder-ashtray installing, i have a 07 san diego pd crown vic but came with out the cup holder bracket i bought one from 08 but it dont fit any one knows how to install with bracket please i have it with braket and everything but if i feel like iam missing something

You have the right bracket?(it comes with the power point on the bottom)


It's the same part at least 2003-2011.
If it's not fitting then there has to be something getting in the way, there are a few screws that hold it onto the dash(IIRC 3 on the top of the bracket and one on the rear), you should be able to see those mounting holes pretty easily.

Some departments removed the whole assembly and installed a different bracket that will not hold the cupholder, they used it to hold a radio or controller of some kind.
