1966 Mercury Park Lane

The story

This '66 Park Lane Convertible, one of 602 Convertibles built in '66 with the buckets and console, Factory installed A/C,/ PS, PB, PW,Tilt/ AM radio, 6 way PDS. It was last registered in California 1974. In covered storage since 1974 in Oakland, Ca. Had complete complete steering overhaul, brakes, shocks prior to going into storage. New top installed and painted in it's original color prior to being offered for sale. Since purchase, the engine has under gone a complete rebuild, only change from original is 20 over pistons, NOS rockers installed. Transmission was disassembled to clean and replaced any parts showing wear. The interior is all factory original! Car is rust free, has been involved in a minor accident sometime during during it's previous ownership that required replacement of the right rear tail light leaving no external reminders.
