The story

Purchased around 1997 in Southern Maryland
The person I bought the Cougar from purchased it while in the Navy stationed somewhere in California and brought it back east with him.
I tagged and titled it in Maryland and drove it for about two years.
I found the car was on the edge, it was a nice car in fairly good shape but there were areas that if left unattended the rust would migrate into areas that would be very hard and costly to repair,
So in late 1999 I took the car off the road and started it's restoration. — mcj67cougar
