The story
I have just bought a Rod and Custom Motorsports RC-106 package and will be installing that to bring the brakes, suspension, and handling back up to where it should be. I have alot of electrical issues to solve and would definately love to get some more horsepower so I'm not completely embarassed at the red light. My first car was a 1968 Cougar that was pretty much a rust bucket with a nice paint job. The guy coming to look at it the same day as me (I had dibs) was going to get it for a demo derby....great starter car and I learned alot working on it. The XR-7 I'm working on now was bought in Feb of 1994 off of a divorcee who got it in a divorce case from her husband in California. It ran fantastic but the timing was so far off that it would blow radiator fluid out of the cap all the time and the lady was tired of dealing with it. I gutted it and it went to paint shop the day before I went to Marine Corps bootcamp in 1995. She's been smoldering in my parents garage since then and I'm finally at a point in my life I can give her the attention she deserves! — Forgeburn
