Installing the winch was a major PITA, and annoyingly did a fair bit of damage to the winch plate's new paint, but I eventually got all the pieces in place and lined up. The sheet metal tab provided very little clearance over the controller...and I didn't take into account needing space to put a cover over the winch, so I had to bend the tab back with that tiny little space to work. It would have been much easier to do before wrestling the winch into place...
