This is the gaping hole that we just opened up.
It provides a substantial increase in air volume available to the engine,
which should equate to better power and gas mileage.
Re-install the fender liner and wheel.
Note:
The intake note will slightly increase in volume at full throttle,
though if I didn’t know I had taken the silencer off, I would never have noticed the difference.
