Wow! That's alot of hardware. I wasn't sure whether to be happy or nervous. Installation was not painless. This harness is wired for GM vehicles and therefore uses GM circuit methods of routing the electricity. The instructions told us to use parts of the original Ford wire harness for the interior lights and other dash accessories. It was a headache marrying the two together. Bob would study both the Painless and Fairlane diagrams to make sense of it all.

When the old harness was in, I was afraid of the ignition system dying while I'm driving, or worse, a fire hazzard. So the old factory wiring harness came out and the new Painless Wiring Harness went in.
