The 2008 Toyota Sienna is a second-generation (XL20) minivan and a carryover year following the 2007 powertrain update. It used the 3.5L 2GR-FE V6 rated at 266 horsepower (net), which had replaced the earlier 3.3L V6 for the 2007 model year, paired with a five-speed automatic transmission and available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The five-door minivan was offered in CE, LE, XLE, and XLE Limited trims with seating for seven or eight. For 2008 the drivetrain and body carried forward with few changes.
