The "New" permanent fix! I've known that the locking mechanisms were bad since I got it, and when i started poking around to find this connection, it pulled out of it's socket without any problems (that ain't right...) and I figured instead of trying to trouble shoot it or reconnect it I'd just bridge it to simulate a ground. Works GREAT & My key switch works now too!!! (this also required the removal of all the previous wiring, easy wasn't it?)...

fosgate wire led through tailgate into male pin connectors & electrical taped so they don't move. ...

fosgate wire run through quarter panel on the interior, and routed through the original grommet. I'm pretty sure this will eventually break, but it's a temp fix because I just wanted it functional....

connections to window motor joined in door sill, used rockford fosgate wiring because it bends easily & I had a lot of it....

Connections bridged from 12v & ground. Blue is ground, one red hot, one red ground, yellow leads to window motor...
