About: i originally had a 1988 for crown vic that i was able to tune in such a way that NO one in my house at the time would drive it and the only time it was driven by someone else, they busted the front end, bend the hood and bent the crossmember so bad that it shoved the radiator in about an inch or so. so at that time i got the 85 front clip and hood (bolt-in). I was getting 35 MPG freeway before the harmonic balancer went out and ate the main bearings.

With the 88 i fell in love with the CVs and since then i got a 98 CVPI (stolen from me), and a 2010 CVPI.
