When I tried to do the weld myself I messed that area up, so I will remove the 1/2" strip of metal and will bend it down like the original metal does and will spot weld from the bottom.... This makes it a little tougher when it comes to layout the patch panel. The first attempt was close but I trimmed a little to much off but I wasn't worried about it. I learned real quick that I couldn't weld thin metal so I have to redo the patch panel, so I will try and not trim off to much the next time.... (Posted in: Rust Repair)

It appears the heat of the day prevented the stripper to work the best. It was frying the stripper which was trying to eat the paint.... (Posted in: Paint Stripping)
