Well, not enough room to drop it, so I am going to cut the driver side exhaust that crosses underneath and then clamp it back together....

I don't want to risk cracking the tranny tailhousing by lifting any higher. I'll check my other options for oil pan removal......

Finally! I finally got the darn front cover off... After the advice from the BigBroncos list, I used the ol' "screwdriver wedged in the flexplate" trick. And it worked!...
