This 1964 chrysler imperal crown is one of the smothes running cars i've ever had, over 6,000. lbs the sheer weight alone makes it glide down the road no matter what surface your driving on, the frame on this car is so big that it blows peoples mind when they see it, it compares to a wood beam that you might see in some ones home on the ceiling 40 inches all the way around not to mention it's all steel and lots of it.
This car has a 440 motor a 3 speed automatic tranny and possy rear axel, it do'es not have disc brakes so trying to stop this beast can be a bit scary, one time i was in a hurry while driving the 64, i was going down a steep hill with a trafic light at the bottom, well i tryed to make the green lite by speeding up a little, as you can guess i did'nt make the green lite, the lite turned red and trafic was starting cross my path, well there was no stoping this 6,000 lb car, you never in you life ever heard screeching tires like this, it was so loud the people at the bottom of the hill heard me comming rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr,soom right through the red lite, people turned right, left any way they could to avoid me i slid all the way across the street and my passanger side tires slamed the curb on the other side of the intersection, boy was my heart pounding, all i could think of was, nooooo don't hit me, wacth out, get out of the way, since then i have respect for brake pads, and give myself alot of room to stop, i'm hoping no to have a run in with any of these small cars of today, i would hate to have to pick up the pieces that would be left of any smart car or one like it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,thanks for looking at my stuff...............see ya...

car crashed and is no more......Yes this is the conv i use to have, sorry the picture is so bad, i lost all the good photos i had of it somewhere along the way moving from place to place, she was a good friend for lots of years and i miss her............thanks for checking out my stuff.............see ya...

bought for 2,000.00 off of a hippy that had it all decked out with shag carpet and little balls hanging around the windsheild, it was sky blue all over with 1973 olds 442 mags painted the same color as the car(i did'nt really like that look) would you?.I took out the very weary 6 cylinder and sold it for 2,000.00 so i got this car for free to (lucky me). I put a 2 bolt maine v8 with 11 to 1 high dome pistons,roller rockerarms,mild street raceing cam,duly heads and thrush mufflers with two inch pipe, I use to have the wide white walls on her but i bought a set of 1975 daton spokes as you can see, they had the small low profile tires on them when i bought them, when we tryed them on to make sure they cleared steering, tie rods ect.i took her for a spin,(I COULD NOT BELIVE the differance in the handling,if you have an old car put some low profile tires on it(if you can stand that look) i don't really love the look myself but the differance in handling is awsome, now i can take the s turns at 80 miles an hour on 95 north near patucet, the chrome is farly new looking and the paint is midnite blue and royal blue.When i go really fast which is not to often,over 120 the speedomiter bounces off the little restrickting rod, it's alot of fun to drive(get one if you can before all the rich people buy them up because thats real, they are buying them up and restoring them for profit, it's getting harder and harder to find a good deal,,,,,,,,,thanks for checking my stuff out.see ya for now and good luck ...

bought for 3,600.00 Well i use to own a 1968 buick eletra 225 a real mans car big powerful, two tone paint gold and brown with a black ragtop with a 455 engine i bought it at a dealership in new hampshire, i enjoyed it for years and years but one day luck was not on the ride with me, no luck stayed home when i when to go to new hampshire to pick up a friend, it had snowed out a few days before and i did'nt drive it in the snow i did'nt want all that salt to get up into the frame so i waited a couple of days for the roads to dry. So off i went i headed down 95 north headed for rt 128 north, well it's easy to fine because you come to a fork in the road at what i call the end of 95 then you end up on 128 and 95 they share the same highway, well anyway you have to go around and around the exit on ramp to get onto 128, now what do you do when you come off an onramp onto a highway? i speed up to get going with the flow off trafic and thats what i did, speed up, WELL GUESS WHAT i saw brake lites way ahead of me, i thoughrt trafic was slowing because there was another on ramp on the right when you first get on 128, the one that i just came off of was on the left but the car was not slowing but infact was STOPPED and with good reason, a car came off the right on ramp and took a left heading into on comming trafic the car in front of me seen this happen, i did not......i got going to fast to slow down in time so i hit the BRAKES i started to slide on sand that was left over from the snowstorm i slid about what seemed like forever, no mater what i tryed pumping the brakes, i yanked on the e brake nothing worked, suddenly i knew that this was the end there was a guard rail to my left and trafic on my right, i had know where to go but straight to hell, i saw as i got closer and closer that it was a little 1976 old mustang, charlies angels model, i knew that when my great big gigantic buick electa hit this poor little wannabe car it was going to be ugly, finnaly CA- BASH I HIT THAT MUSTANG with such force that i sent it over the guard rail and down the imbankmeant about 400 feet, it was like slow motion at this point, i seen the back of the mustang just lift right off the ground and over the rail but not before smashing in the trunck all the way to the back seat, my car was demolished, the whole front end was faceing the sky smashed beyond reconishon, the doors buckled the windshild bent and broke in a 1000 places. When the dust kind of setteled i climed out the window and ran down to the mustang i just killed to see who i hit,Well i could'nt belive my eyes, i thought i was dreaming that i saw a baby in what was left of the back seat, the poor little girl was pushed all the way with her face inbetween the passanger head rest and the door post but she was OK,BUT MOM AND DAD WAS'NT DOING TO GOOD they where not wearing seatbelts and they both got pushed into the windshild and there was two matching smashes that looked like there face was just there a few seconds ago, well the ambulance came and took kim, bill and there baby to the hospital, i did'nt get hurt so i was still hanging around trying to get a tow truck and i finnaly went home BOY that really sucked. Bye the way everybody came out of that OK i stayed in touch.
NOW ABOUT THIS 66...I was driving to work one day and i was going past some factorys and there it was behind a fence, threre sitting in all it's glory a 1966 buick electra, such a rare car, you just don't see many anymore because they are all rusted and crushed, so i got out of my car and found the gate and i went in for a closer look, oh my god what a beautyful car, all the sudden the guy who own it came out and i asked him how much, he said, 6,000.00, i said to rich for my blood and off to work i went. I had to drive past that car every day for weeks, the guy was having trouble selling her for the price he wanted, mind you that car is worth 6000 all day and all nite, never the less thats alot of money. I could'nt help myself i just had to go to look at it again and when i did, the guy came out again and said, ohh it's you again, do you have the 6000 i said, no.Well some time went by weeks and weeks and again i felt compeled to go to it again so i did,again the guy came out and said,it's you again, you really like this car don't you i said, yes i do, i love it, then he caught me off guard and said, how much can you swing for it, i said i can maybe get 3,500.00 and he said, i know you will take care of this car OK you can have it,so i got every cent i could fine and ended up with 3,500.00 i had to use my rent money and a few bills did'nt get payed and i borrowed some money and off i went to buy a car that dreams are made of. THIS CAR is all original right down to the tires, no rust at all, no rips, no chips (NOTHING WRONG) it has a 445 wildcat motor, automatic, one wheel drive,drives like a dream.................thanks for checking out my stuff.........see ya ps i have a bad picture of my old 68...

bought for 1,000.00 When i bought this car it was almost kind of an acident. I seen a 1961 corvair at a car dealership i like big cars but you had to see this 1961 corvair, it was mint,very clean by chance i did'nt have any money on me, i just stopped to look at the covair, the guy wanted 3,000.00 so i said i going to go to the bank and get the money.I got hung up on the phone with my long lost son and you would not belive it by the time i got back(the guy sold the darn corvair) was'nt meant to be i guess, as i was standing there with jim the sales person his brother joe pulled into the lot with this drab gray 1961 all original chevy impala, i thought to myself,(NOW thats more like it) a big old chevy, the guy got out and came over to where i was to talk to his brother and when i could finaly get a word in i asked joe if he wanted to sell his impala, he said, NO WAY iv'e had this impala for 30 years its the first car i ever bought i love it no way do i want to sell her, so i left hanging my head, no new car today. there was somthing about the 1961 impala that i just could'nt get out off my mind so i went on a mission to fine one, well i looked and i looked, let me make clear this was before cuputers were mainestream it was back in 1980 at least i did'nt have one then, so i looked in classifids and car lots, well about 6 months later i got a telephone call at my home, i forgot that i gave joe from the car lot my number in case he ever changed his mind, well he did, he needed money real bad and i said well how much do you want for her, he said,,,,does a 1,000.00 sound like to much, i said, i'll be right there, i went to my uncles house and borrowed 500.00 and then to my sisters house to borrow 200.00 and i had 300.00 off i went, oh yea i forgot to tell you what he said, he said i have a suprise for you, he would;nt tell me over the phone. It did;nt take me to long to get to the car lot and there she was, the suprise was that he painted it RED whitch looks so much better than drab gray, so i said wow it looks great here is the 1,000.00 you aked for, all the sudden i got a tap on my shoulder it was his brother jim, the owner of the car lot, he said can i see you privatly, i said sure, we walked into his office and he said, how much is my brother selling that car to you for, i said 1,000.00, he said....(COME ON NOW) you and I know that car is worth alot more than 1,000.00 it all original and has hardly any rust and i'm the one who painted it for (MY BROTHER) just 3 months ago, that cost 200.00 alone, my brother don't know the value of cars like i do, so i'm like a what do you want from me, i asked him how much and he said 1,000.00, he said can you give him a tip for getting such a good deal, i said all i have is 50.00 left, he said that will have to do, i said fine so we walked over to joe who was daggeling the keys to the impala and i said really loud, i want to give you a tip because i know you need the money and you don't really want to sell her, he looked at me with tears in his eyes and said, thats so nice of you to give me a tip, he said i want to give you somthing and he went into the garage next to the office, when he came out he had a cassette converter a device you can use in 8 track players to play cassettes, and yes there was an old 8 track player that worked in her, so he showed me how to use it, we used a cassette tape from my friends car, it worked perfectly. What his brother did'nt know was i would have gave joe 50.00 for that little piece or history but he gave it to me, what a nice guy. Well the car has a original 327 corvett motor and if you did'nt know the 1961 chevy impala was also put onto a 1959 corvette frame, so it's really a 1959 corvette with a different body, pretty cool huh, but i have to say that this car is dangerus, it sways fron side to side when taking corners the opisett of a motorcycle because it has an x frame, there is no suport on the sides of the frame like an x it flexes when you turn, it's kind of fun but beware at high speed. This car has to much power for how it is built but as long as you respect it it's fun fun fun.........thanks for checking out my stuff.................. see ya...

1972 lincon strech......I got this car for a song and a dance, kind of, i was sitting in the window of the place where i work and all the sudden this 1972 lincon town car pulled up in the front of the store, the door opened and to my surprize a friend of mine steped out,so i ran outside to check it out, i said antony where did you get that car, he said it's a friend of mines car, pauly,i said wow what a nice car, i would love to have that car, i was just saying that i did'nt mean anything,not really. Antony went across the street to a cafe' where he worked and the guy who owned the 1972 was in there,suddenly the door opens and a man i never met comes into my place and says, hay i hear you want to buy my car, i said, what car is that,he said, my limo outside here in the front, i said , oh you mean the black car antony was driving,he said, yea so do you want to buy it or what, i said, well i was'nt realy in the market to buy a car, i haven't even thought about it.
We both just stared at each other for a second or so then he trows the keys to me and said, i want 3,000.00, i said, i don't have 3,000.00, he said, don't worry about it, I'm always in the cafe' just give me what ever you can each week or so, ok, i got to go, you can use my plates for 3 days untill they run out, and he rushed out and he was gone. Here i am standing in the window at a car that was MINE all of the sudden, i had to see the inside, i had to see how it ran, how it rides, so i put a note on the door, BE RIGHT BACK.
I open the door and got into the car and it smelled so nice and clean and there was no rips or tears, nice looking dash board with one of those speedomitors that roll as you drive, a tilt steering wheel, cruz cotrol,air con,power windows and climate control heater, all i could think was WOW.
I started the 460 motor and it purred like a kitten, i put it into gear and the tranny kicked right in and zoom zoom, i was off, i could not belive the power this car had, it just cruzed along, all the blinkers where working, the hide away headlites went up and down, i was proud to say, this is my car.
Afew weeks later i saw pauly the cars old owner and i gave him 50.00 to start to pay down that 3,000.00 price tag, he was ok with that and i gave him a few more 50s here and there, about 5 weeks into our agreement he up and moved away,he told antony to tell me somthing,he said,(DON'T WORRY)about paying any more, the cars yours, enjoy it and goodby.
I could not belive this guy just droped this car in my lap
and said, enjoy it,well, i am...................thanks for looking at my stuff.............see ya...

passanger side of freebee....I'll tell you living in providence can be challange to own vintige cars this car is the same kind of car the people that where living here before had, a ranchero just like mine was stold and never found, thats kind of scary becuase i don't have a garage for this car, but i do have a camera on it always it's an old vhs unit but if somthing where to happen at least i will have a movie to watch after, these units are cheap so if you hav'ent got a garage for your baby, hook up a watchfull set of eyes, you'll sleep better..........good luck...
