1971 m-code cleveland 30 over, speed pro flat top forged pistons(l2379) stock crank and rods reconditioned, arp main studs, arp rod bolts, moroso swap pan for foxbody, moroso oil pick-up, stock volume/pressure oil pump. comp cams xe274 camshaft, comp cams timing chain and gears, comp pushrods, retainers, and locks, lunati valvesprings. closed chamber 4brl cylinder heads, 2.19 intake, 1.72 exhaust milodon 1 piece valves. ford motorsport roller rockers, stock valve covers (because there cool and say power by ford) wiend x-celerator intake, summit 750cfm v/s carb (works extremely well) edelbrock drop base air cleaner, stock duraspark dizzy(recurved) hedman hustler headers that fit around everything very well and have flat collectors for extra ground clearance. 2.5" exhaust in to summit race mufflers dumped at axle. taurus electric fan and underdrive pulleys. had power steering but decided to ditch it for a manual rack, carter high flow fuel pump. (coming soon new fuel system!) |
Drivetrain: |
stock 8.8 with 4.10 gears and trac lock (which is on its way out) 4 cyl t-5 thats hangin in there tough! centerforce clutch (2nd one already) motorsport billet flywheel. heavy duty clutch cable, firewall adjuster and aluminum clutch quadrant(clutch is smooth as butter!) stock 5.0 driveshaft. suspension is all brand new as car was a 4cyl car, converted to stock gt suspension components including booster and master cylinder. manual steering rack. |

purchased car from coworker whos wife didnt like the way the car rode (had frozen struts in the front end). bought it for 600 bucks drove it for a year till i had all the parts to do the conversion. the car is driven almost daily except for rain because its a handfull! |
