The story

I traded a '91 Explorer 4.0L 5spd push button 4wd on 36s running a D44RR front and 9" Rear with Disc Brakes for it. I loved that body style of Broncos since I was a teenager in the 90's and they were new and vowed that I'd own one. I own a small off road shop in Radcliff, KY and wanted to take on a new project and oh yeah that disc brake conversion that came on the explorer, ripped off the AXLE and stranded me and the driveshafts kept breaking from vibrations, I got a great running Bronco for a troubled nightmare! — Big95Bronco

Engine: Stock 351
Drivetrain: Junked the E4OD for A C-6 It bolts in fine between the Stock Engine and T-case. The factory BW13-56 is still in service, I may find a Junk yard NP205 or I'd like an Atlas Case. I removed the front TTB crap and swapped in a D44RR from a '79 Ford, but I made some brackets from square stock to retain the factory coil spring cups so I didn't have to have custom Coils made. I had 3.73s with a Tru Trac, but that ratio with 44s burnt out 3 E4ODs, so I bought 4.11s to match the rear ratio. But the the Tru Trac had to go since the case is only good to 3.73s so its on the shelf. I blew up the 8.8 rear. Not because I was pushing the envolope Off Roading, I had a slow pinion seal leak that I left unaddressed and BAM!!! the cover had cracked painted and I was driving home in front wheel drive LOL So I Ditched that scary C-clip axle for a Sterling 10.25 axle from a '93 F-350 SRW (had to be, for ease of gear changes later sake) and it bolts right in with no modification down to the ABS sensor.
