The story

Snatched this one up as part of an estate that I am currently liquidating for a client. — villadrive

1967 Ford Ranchero - This is where the car was parked 20 YEARS AGO! Not sure how old this picture is, but it was several years ago... 1967 Ford Ranchero - This is more current, some rust, LOTS of pine needles! Plan to pull it out by March when the rain calms down a bit... 1967 Ford Ranchero - A current shot from the rear... DEFINITELY a major project, but, MAN, what a great project for a Father & Son to embark on, right? 1967 Ford Ranchero - The hood opens!!! 1967 Ford Ranchero - Finally at home... 1967 Ford Ranchero - Uh Oh... lots of work in HERE - but, EVERYTHING works! 1967 Ford Ranchero - Had to put in a new Ignition Switch

Probably right - I am waitingto actually get the car out from under the Pine Tree it is sitting under - has been there 20 years! Original owner, sad story actually, was planning on a full resto once he retired, and, died 3 months before his planned retirement.

I am liquidating his estate for his wife - he died a year ago - and I am taking on a couple of the cars he cherished and was going to restore.

Mark, you are not too far from me - Antioch - once I get the Ranchero it would be fun to hook up at a car show, or whatever.

Thanks for the post about the tranny.

Well if its like mine most likely depending on the code if you told me i could tell u for sure buts its probably a c4 auto tranny that was pretty standard for the 289 auto package so ts a 3 speed auto the color and trim looks similar to mine
