Are these the only springs that will work or will any front springs off of a super duty work. I have a set of front springs that I can get but they do not match the seriel numbers that you printed in the article. They came off the front of a 2004 ford super duty pk. |

Did they add any noticeable lift to the front or better ride quality? The springs that I can get are stamped 3C34 ADA R 314 3, the springs in the article were stamped 3C34 ADA R 249 6. Just trying to figure out what I have before I go to all the trouble installing them for nothing. Thanx.. |

bspikes ,do you still have access to the SuperDuty the springs came off of as thats the easiest way to determine the spring code.

Thank you very much for the info. It turns out that the springs are V-code springs. What a find huh. I got them for free. They came off the truck with only 400 miles on them and have been stored in a garage since. Again, thank you very much. |

arigato
i like the info on springs and the procedure step by step is very helpful
i just bought a ford x
it needs a suspension
if im correct the oem spring were rated for 1750 lbs of capacity , and the v code are rated at 2250 lbs each.
together the pair will give 1000lbs more capacity in the front.
1000lbs more capacity should be very noticable .
cheers !
