I was looking at the spring codes on the super duty website. Why did you choose V code springs and not the W or X code which are reported to be heavier?

May the peace of CHrist be with you always!

I would think that the springs are ok when loaded but when empty, the truck rides like on steel wheels.

Thank you for the detailed installation of the V-codes. I just received my springs. Do you have the part number for the semi-round u-bolts?

I have a 05 4x4 diesel X with a 3" lift which I like the height. If I install
the v code springs will I get an addition 1 1/2" of lift over what I have ?

Jim,

The V-codes provide a lift over a stock suspension. If you already have a 3" lift installed, then this would drop the height of your X in the front.

I own a 2004 Excursion Eddie Bauer 6.0L diesel and have the same problem with my front end leaf springs. Will these V-code springs fit my truck? And what happens to the rear of the truck? Does the truck sit higher in the back now? Do they have a similar Ford product for the rear? I have been looking for aftermarket suspension products that do not lift the truck too high, but give me less of that trucky type ride. Thoughts?

Thanks,

Keith

I own a 2004 Excursion Eddie Bauer 6.0L diesel, and wanted to know if these springs will work on my truck? Waht happens to the rear, does it need to be lifted? What about the F-Code springs for the rear Excursion, part #'s? My truck rides too trucky , will these springs changes help?

Once you install the new V-code springs on the front, and truck grows 1 1/2" higher. What do you do with the rear? I heard you can buy new larger 3 1/2" blocks for the rear to level the truck out. What is the part number for the new and longer U-blots for the rear?

Thansk,

Keith
