The story
Thsi Boat is not a Diplomat, it is a 26ft. Sleekcraft Ambassador Day Cruiser. I first owned one like this in 1980, it was sold in 1983... after 25 years I get this one back... now I plan to restore it to its original condition.
Now is at a shop getting new stringers, new transom, new floor, new carpet, etc. All the wood inside the boat was damaged by water... the hull, engine and Jet Pump are on almost new condition... so it will be almost new in a couple of weeks, and back on the water at 70 MPH — mgms
