The 1977–1979 LTD II Ranchero brought Ford's car-truck hybrid into its final chapter, and the builds here show everything from a black '77 tucked away in a garage to a green '79 parked outside a cabin and a sharp silver-and-maroon '79 sitting in a driveway. Owners are keeping these alive with aftermarket gauges set into woodgrain dashes, tow hitches on the back, and interiors still sporting that distinctive 'RANCHERO 500' badging with red upholstery.
The story
After I had to get rid of my first car, 1973 Ranchero, I have been looking for another one that hasn't been all built up. After 25 years, I found this one that a gentleman owned for 10 years. Looks to be a solid, complete project car. — fleetwood77ranchero
