The gray Fuel Tank Pressure sensor comes out with a 1/4 CCW turn. Its connector is part of the fuel pump assembly. The blue vapor valve prys out. The white rollover valve is also removed by 1/4 CCW, but its O-ring is much tighter.

RHR roof bow. The 2 small rectangular holes on level with the bolt are for the grab handle. The clip nut below the bolt is for the hanger hook.

Peeling it away from the glue didn't do as much damage as I expected, but I plan to apply silicone adhesive when I install it. It should hold well enough, but peel off more easily if I ever need to remove it again.

Since I also wanted to wash the seat belts, I disassembled the buckle. It's now ready to go in the washing machine with the upholstery. Since the passenger & rear buckles have no switches, they can be washed without their covers.

The standard size pistons are color-coded green on the dome.

There are three sizes of the standard piston, color coded red, blue and yellow.
Piston diameter:
Red: 90.167-90.180mm (3.5499-3.5504 inch)
Blue: 90.180-90.193mm (3.5504-3.5509 inch)

Cushion Comparison
After finding a '93 Grand Marquis power seat in the junkyard, I stripped the upholstery & cushions off the frame, washed them, and did the same to my original seat. This shows the differences in the styles of cushions.

Place the gearshift lever into first gear and place the steering column in the fully "tilted" position. Then, the instrument panel cluster finish panel must be removed, including the headlamp switch.
