My e-brake pedal had NO resistance, and when I pulled the rear rotors, I found why: the friction material is gone. Also, the drums are rusty because there was no friction material wear against them.

Fluid leaks out of the slip-yoke's vent hole in the center behind the U-joint, and drips off the bottom. It also slings onto the underbody. The tube is dry just behind the yellow seal.

The black thing at the L center of the photo is the VSS.

Since I also wanted to wash the seat belts, I disassembled the buckle.

When one tab is out, it's sometimes possible to push it up, and the other may come out. If not, repeat the process on the other tab.
