My Service Engine Soon light came on and I took it to back to the dealer ( not a Ford dealer, but a performance dealer ) to have it checked out. They hooked it up to the computer, but first had to replace a blown fuse for the data link connector and cigarette lighter before it would work. After hooking it up to the computer they got an "Undefined Code". They checked their available resources, and could not get any information on this. They checked the excursion out really well and went over everything and told me that I should still be able to drive it. It's been a month now and it is still on. It concerns me, because the last thing I need right now is for this truck to let me down. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!!

Do you have an aftermarket computer chip installed? I had my X looked at by the dealer at one point when the SES light went on. They couldn't figure out what the problem was because the code didn't make sense -- I attributed it to overboost (due to the chip I have installed). The X ran fine with the light on.

Nope, no chip. I've had it for just a little over a year now, and haven't done any mods to it yet. I did just recently install a Teckonsha Electronic Brake Control which I can't get working. I was trying to trouble shoot that with a multimeter down under the dash where it plugs in, and it threw some sparks. I don't know if I might have blown a fuse or what. But the SES light came on after that episode. Not right after, but it wasn't long.

I'd bring it into a dealership. There should be no reason why they can't pull the code for you. If you haven't made any modifications, then there's no reason why they won't be able to cover any fixes under warranty...that is of course if you still are within your warranty.
