Hi all,

I don't post much but woulf first like to thank to all for their comments on the ART rotors. I know have the complete set installed. I have 75K on my 00 7.3 and was on my 3rd set of rotors, so I hope to get more than the 20K the dealer provided rotors lasted.

Well, my steering was very loose so I took it into the dealer yesterday. They replaced the drag link and pitman arm. Is this an issue any of you have had. THis seems to be a premature failure in my opinion. THe truck is stock with the exception of 285s for tires.

On the brighter side I had made friends with the local Ford house shop manager so cost was very minimal. Bascially $100 for the Drag link, pitman arm, and labor.

Now as soon as the cage for Bronco is done, I can actually use the X to drag it around to the various Bronco events I have had to miss this past year due to mods I started.

Again thanks for the ART info.

Chris H

Chris,

I have 86K miles on my 2000 7.3L and haven't had any issues with my drag link or pitman arm. Steering still feels fine to me. I do still run the stock 265/75R16 Firestone Steeltex's though. Hardly any towing, for the most part it's a daily driver that sees some dirt roads and hunting trails when we venture outdoors on the weekends.

Can't beat the $100 repair bill, though!

Nope $100.00 bucks not bad at all. Just bothers that they failed so relatively soon and it seems that others are not experiencing it.

Thanks
