Haven't heard of too many go fast options other the edge box, exhasut, and intake...
but have heard (third party) of good results from the quad power module - www.quadzillpower.com...

I'm in the DFW area and he has a shop in ft. Worth that I'll be visiting this week to have a demo unit put in...
will give you the results as soon as I know...
but have pm's from customers that are thrilled with the performance increase...

It's already a stout package - but it can always be 'betta' !

JohnBoy,

Definetly post your thoughts. I'm back in the market to upgrade from my Expedition and the Excursion still makes the most sense but I've been real hesitant based on aftermarket goodies. I can't wait to step over to the dark side, but I'm certainly not going to leave it alone! If there's more power in it, I want it!

I just traded my 2000 4x4 7.3 PSD Excursion Limited for a 2003 4x4 6.0 PSD Excursion Limited and it is much faster. The 5 speed Torqshift AT really works well with the new 6.0.

i would not be in a big hurry yet to chip the 6.0.
i knew there would be trans issues and no one seemed to listen or care. these problems are coming out of the closet now. the 5R110(5 speed auto behind 6.0) as yet can not be modified. there are no valves in the valve body. TransGo and TTS have smoked a trans with 100hp. Ford will void warranty on drivetrain and motor. (about 15k+) . be carefull guys.

Ford will not hesitate to void warranty if they find a chip. If you do bring your vehicle in for warranty work on the engine or trans, PLEASE remove your chip before pulling into the dealer's service garage.
