It wasn't an Excursion -- it was a 1-ton F350 XLT with the new 6.0L PSD. This thing was quieter than my Excursion. I couldn't believe the difference in reduce noise inside the cab. Power was great, shifting was good...Ford has done a fine job with this new 6.0L and I would highly recommend that if anyone is in the market for a new Powerstroke Excursion that they check out the 6.0L. If I wasn't so upside down on my loan on my Excursion, I would be trading in my '00 X for a '03 or '04. I don't even care of it's an Excursion at this point, the 6.0L is so nice that I would easily convert to a SuperDuty pickup. Maybe in another year or two!
