I checked in when I bought it and now I'm back, broke my leg two months ago so I have a little time on my hands. It's a 2001 4x4 v-10 had 19k on it when bought, weve put 10k on since then, we love it to death. I'm wonder if I'll be able to find another low mileage rig when this one is wore out with productioin stopping. Stole it for 24k loaded, thats alot of depreciation fo only 19k miles.I installed 6" shyjaker soft ride, 16x10 welds with 35" X-terrains, pretty quit tire for the aggressivness. Also installed Hypertech Programmer, that spiced it up. It came with the 4.30 gears with anti spin. I found out on my super duty f-250 35" tires and 3.73 gears just don't cut it, did a 4.56 gear swap on that one. Check back later. Great Forum |

Welcome back. Bummer about your leg, but as long as you have an X, life ain't that bad at all.
I too wonder what the pickin's will be like come 2004 and 2005 after the X is no more. My sights will be set on a fully load 2004 6.0L PSD with low miles and that great used-car price tag.

Ya your right about not being all bad, but I'll tell you this, hopping up into my rig with that busted leg was a tuff one. Thats what my wife drove me to the E-room in. Sooner or later I'll post some pics of my mini collection of Fords. One X, One F-250 S.D., One bad ass 67' 351w 4 speed stang, and I have a 71' 429 cj convertible Torino coming soon , oh so rare. |
