Does anyone know if the Excursion brakes are as easy to change as say those of a Chevy??? My neighbor (manager/mechanic) showed me how to change brake pads and rotors on his '93 Chevy Pickup, and after seeing how unbelievably easy it was, I am pretty sure I can do the ART brake kit myself (with his supervision) . I was just wondering if anyone knew of anything that a "shop" might have to do???
Thanks in advance.

Yes, the x should be similar to the Chevy. I changed all 4 discs, pads and bleed the system in about 4 hrs. without drama. It helps to have some hydralic jacks, jack stands and torque wrench. Its fairly gratifing and you also can verify on a personal level proper nut and bolt torque.

Don't forget the anti-squeak compound for the pads. I didn't put any on my ART's and I regret it. It's not a horrible squeak. Usually it's fine, only when I'm in traffic and the brakes heat up.
